Disaster Response (domestic) – Packing list
This is my typical Wildland Fire / Hurricane packing list
ALWAYS
911: Driver’s license/state ID & TR ID |

Clothing
Clothing: 1 city outfit |
Clothing: 2 pair of shorts Bicycle shorts/silkies These go under nomex pants. Avoid chafing and potential junk-crud |
Clothing: 2 pairs of pants |
Clothing: 14 t-shirt |
Clothing: 15 pair of underwear |
Clothing: 18 pairs of socks ( Your feet are your paycheck take care of them two pair/day) |
Clothing: Jacket or sweatshirt |

Clothing: Sweatshirt or Jacket, something to keep you warm on cold mornings |

I always bring my sleeping bag. How long the disaster has been going on/what the supply chain is like will depend on me bringing my tent/cot. (If I can borrow one there, I’ll leave the weight at home).
