Promethazine is used in the treatment of opiate adjunct; sedation; nausea/vomiting; light sedation; allergic reactions (and more), and belongs to the drug classes antihistamines, phenothiazine antiemetics.

It is also used as an antiseptic, insect repellent, and treatment option for wounds, burns, and ulcer. (Apply like any cream- directly on wound)
